David was born and raised in a small village called Oakdale in Northeast Nebraska. He served in the Marine Corps for five years, spent time as a missionary in China, and is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. He was saved at four years of age at a backyard VBS program his mother was coordinating. His wife's name is Larissa who is a local area native and also a Moody Graduate. He has two kids, Danny & Emily.
